The Save a Life course is designed for individuals and community groups who want practical, essential life-saving skills in a simple and supportive learning environment.
It is ideal for people who do not require workplace compliance training, including community groups, clubs, churches, sports teams, and individuals who want confidence to act in an emergency.
Training is hands-on, practical, and focused on building confidence through real scenarios and guided practice.
This course is delivered in line with current ANZCOR guidelines by certified NZRC Emergency Care Instructors.
Important Note
This course is not formally assessed and does not meet WorkSafe NZ requirements for workplace first aid certification.
It is designed for personal, community, and non-compliance training only.

What is an Save-Life Course?
A Save-a-Life course equips learners with essential practical skills to perform CPR accurately and to clear a foreign body obstruction (choking) in adults, children, and infants. Participants will also learn how to effectively set up and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Who should take this course?
This course is ideal for individuals who wish to learn life-saving skills or refresh their existing knowledge. The New Zealand Resuscitation Council recommends updating CPR training annually.
Do I get a certificate after completing this course?
Yes! You’ll receive a first aid e-certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Can you register NZQA credits?
No, this certificate does not include NZQA credits.
