What is an Comprehensive First Aid Course?
The Comprehensive First Aid Course provides in-depth first aid skills for responding to serious medical emergencies, including CPR, AED use, trauma management, and workplace accident response.
Who should take this course?
This course is ideal for individuals who need to be prepared in an medical emergency or work in moderate to high-risk workplaces, such as construction, forestry, agriculture, manufacturing, and adventure tourism.
How long does Comprehensive First Aid certification last?
Certification is valid for 2 years, after which a refresher course is required.
Do I get a certificate after completing this course?
Yes! You’ll receive a first aid e-certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Do you offer NZQA accredited courses?
No — RealMed is not an NZQA-accredited provider.
However, NZQA accreditation is not required for workplace first aid training. WorkSafe allows employers to choose any competent provider that meets the needs and risks of their workplace.
We issue recognised two-year first aid certificates, follow ANZCOR guidelines for CPR, and provide training that is often more practical, more realistic, and more relevant than standard NZQA unit-standard courses.
