What is a Refresher/Revalidation Course?
A Refresher course renews either a Workplace, Comprehensive or equivalent first aid qualification
How long does Refresher First Aid certification last?
Certification is valid for 2 years. There is a three-month grace period from your certificate's expiry date to complete your refresher course.
Do I get a certificate after completing this course?
Yes! You’ll receive a first aid e-certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Do you offer NZQA accedated courses?
No — RealMed is not an NZQA-accredited provider.
However, NZQA accreditation is not required for workplace first aid training. WorkSafe allows employers to choose any competent provider that meets the needs and risks of their workplace.
We issue recognised two-year first aid certificates, follow ANZCOR guidelines for CPR, and provide training that is often more practical, more realistic, and more relevant than standard NZQA unit-standard courses.
Our courses include hands-on scenarios, Control the Bleed, tourniquets, wound packing, and high-stress decision-making — the skills people actually need in real emergencies.
