Loop the wrap over the injured limb and place it directly on or near the injury (or wrap loosely for entrapped limbs).
Cinch the red slip sleeve until snug.
Use a wide wrap for long lacerations, or a narrow, tighter wrap for severe bleeding—always apply between the wound and the heart.
Continue wrapping the elastic to the white label, then secure the hook fasteners to the elastic.
Write the application time on the white label.
Adjust tension for comfort and bleeding control, monitoring circulation, pulse, sensation, and motor function.
Leave in place until definitive wound management is available.
Important: Never wrap around or tighten on the neck.
